SOCIAL MEDIA SUBSCRIPTIONS

Can I just sign up for one month as a trial before deciding to commit?

No, unfortunately, our social media subscriptions are most effective when you sign up for the first three months. This allows us to create a solid strategy for your social media, and gives us time to gather useful insight as to how successful our strategy is for your business. 

Can I stagger the three month subscription on an alternating month basis?

Again unfortunately no, consistency is important in a successful social media strategy, so to make sure that you are getting the best results we believe in posting in consecutive months. 

If I sign up halfway through the month, do I get a discount on the first month of the subscription?

Our subscription packages start on the 1st of each month, so when you sign up in the middle of the month, your subscription will start the following month, that also gives us time to set all of your profiles up on our systems. If you would like your subscription to start the month you subscribe, you will be charged the full month and we will rollover any posts we owe to the following month.

Can I change my subscription package once I have signed up?

Yes. Should you decide to change your subscription package after signing up, we can do that. The new package will commence on the first of the following month, and you will be charged from that month.

How much notice do I need to give you if I wish to cancel my subscription package?

Should you choose to cancel your social media subscription with Locket Creations, you will need to give notice a month in advance. If notice is given after that date, you will be charged for the following month at 50% of your rate.

What if I just want photos for my social media, and no copywriting?

We have a package for that! We offer corporate photography packages designed for business needs - so whether you need some team photos, or product photography, we can discuss a package that is right for you.

Do you do custom social media packages?

No, but what we can do is catch up and chat about how we could possibly help you

Can I purchase social media templates off you instead of creating and posting new content each month? 

Yes, we can do custom design templates or social media prompts for you. Contact us to chat about how we can do this with you.

PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES

How far in advance do I need to book a photography session?

I need at least one week’s notice for a photography session (if not fully booked), as I need time to create a concept, scout location ideas and factor in conditions such as weather etc. 

What if what I need isn’t outlined in your packages?

I am more than happy to sit with you to discuss a custom package to suit your needs. 

I heard you do birth photography; do you still offer that?

Unfortunately, no. I loved doing birth photography, however due to the growth of my business I can’t accommodate for birth photography anymore. I am happy to recommend other photographers if you are interested in having it done.

Can I choose to have less photos to lower the price of the package?

No. The reason I offer 15 photos as part of my package is so you have a range of images to take with you. As our shoot will cover a range of locations, there will be a large selection of images to choose from, and I’d hate to see you miss out on having these memories to keep with you.

If I want to purchase all our photos, do you offer a discount?

Yes, if you choose to purchase all the photos I edit, I can offer a 10% discount on the overall price. 

Will you travel to other locations for photography?

Yes! I love to explore new places, and I have travelled as far as Morocco for a job. Whether you need me on a mine site, or on the other side of Australia, we can make it happen. There will be additional travel fees which can be discussed during the booking and quoting stage.

What is your travel fee for out-of-town photography?

If it is within a 500km radius, I charge $50 per hour which is worked out from the WA ATO recommendations.

Do you offer printing of photos as part of your service?

Yes, I can organise printing of your photos if requested. All my printing is done with an Australian company, using the best quality inks, paper and framing.

For the wedding package, do you offer a half-day rate?

No I don’t, I feel that for such a special day it should be captured from beginning to end and my style is quite journalistic so I only do a full day with you.

LOGO AND BRAND DESIGN

What is the turnaround time for logo design?

Depending on the complexity of your logo, it could take anywhere between 2 weeks and a month. Bear in mind, the more changes you make to your logo, the longer it will be to have it finalised. 

What do I receive when my logo is completed?

When your logo design is finalised, you will receive:

• Full colour logo in jpg

• Full colour logo in png

• Full colour logo in psd

• Full colour logo in eps

These different formats are suitable for a range of print and design requirements. Should you require additional variations, please let us know and we can include that in your quote.

What’s a brand guideline?

A brand guideline provides an overview of how to apply your brand in print and design. It gives you the colour codes used in your logo, the fonts, and shows you the correct way to use the logo when creating business cards, signs, documents, flyers etc. It’s a handy tool to have and provide to any other company, corporation or collaboration is when you work together you can ensure they protect the integrity of your brand and ensure consistent visual branding across the board.

Can you also organise printing of business cards?

Yes, I can! I’m happy to organise the process from start to finish, and we can discuss print and paper options too. There will be an additional cost for the printing, which can be discussed depending of papers/finishes etc.

Can you provide graphic design for other items, like signage, posters, social media graphics?

Absolutely! To get a quote for additional design, get in touch and we can discuss what you need. 

What’s the difference between a logo and a brand?

Firstly, your brand is MORE than just a logo. Your brand is the identity and soul of your business. So when we create a brand strategy for you, we don’t just slap your logo on things; we take time to understand the whys behind your business, and understand how you want people to see your brand. We then create visuals and copy to help you communicate this with your clients and audience.

WEBSITE DESIGN

What am I paying for exactly? Creating my own website is so easy!

Sure, it’s far more easier these days to build a website, with ready made templates, stock images and YouTube tutorials, but what makes us different is that we have the skills and knowledge to create custom websites, that will grow your business, using beautiful, curated visuals, and copy that is carefully crafted to attract the right audience and convert them to customers. Plus, it takes a lot of time to get right. So yes, you can create a website for free, but we can elevate that website to help you make money and get your message out there.

What website platform do you use?

We use Squarespace for all our websites, for ease of use and functionality, as well as the fact Square has a range of products that work together (Square Retail, Square Appointments etc). It also integrates with a range of other e-platforms, making it a great platform to choose.

I have an existing website that’s not on Squarespace, and it needs a spruce up. Can I just stick to the platform I already use?

Of course! We can work across different platforms, and are more than happy to use what you already have.

PAYMENT

What are your payment terms?

All payments are due within 14 days of the invoice date. As I am a small business owner, your payments are my income to cover business expenses, staffing costs and my own wage, therefore timely payment is appreciated.

Can I pay in instalments?

If you are purchasing a photography package, we can discuss an instalment payment system. However, I do require full payment for all other service (social media, logo and brand design, website development).
